How Wii Golf Can Change Your Life 09/05/2009
In this world we are programmed to think that if we are not busy with something or doing something consructive, we are lazy or unmotivated. Some in business even say we're missing opportunity's by not constantly putting our business first. This can not be further from the truth in my opinion! Hard work and dedication is a huge, and I mean huge part of life and business, but so is YOU time. If you don't back away every once in a while and enjoy life, your decisions and ideas will become absolute CRAP! Trust me it's happened to me. Try it today take an hour for you and only you. Come back to what you were doing and it will be like you just started! When I mean YOU time I don't even mean the gym. I love the gym and I love fitness! But the gym is work. I believe it needs to be done. Thats called work! I want you to literally do "nothing". By nothing I mean things like take a nap, sit by the pool, drink a beer, play some golf, and the ladies will love this one....go shopping! My personal fav is Wii Golf! I love that freakin game! Plus I feel like a pro when I play it! 4 under is my best yet! :) Do something that you feel is almost worthless! Ill tell ya what.....it will change everything. Who has ever gone in to an idea or situation of extreme importance with out a plan in place? Everyones hand should be up! Mine is! And let me guess, it probably didn't work out so well....did it? Most of the people who read this blog are people involved in a network marketing company or some sort of homebased business, but having plans ready should be in every aspect of our lives I believe. From building a business to going to the grocery store. How many times have you come back from the grocery store just to say.....Damn! I forgot the...... You didn't write it down. There was no plan. As corny as that example is, that is the simplicity of creating a plan....Write it down! The process begins with a pen and paper. That's it! Write down exactly what you want to accomplish. Or even draw it out. I prefer the boxes with arrows method! :) When I was done with my plan it looked like a mess on paper but I understood it, and it was out of my head and on a "drawingbored". I look at it everyday. Will your plans change? 100% YES!! Almost daily, but whats the harm in that?!?! Plans change do to all sorts of situations. Thats where the term "back to the drawingboard" came from. I've personally had ideas that weren't even humanly possible....yet anyway! That doesn't mean my plans are ruined, it means I sit down and make another plan. Just start with a plan! What do you want to do? I'm am not saying taking risks is wrong by any means. You'll cross that bridge many times in your life. And those "cool guys" who look like they alwyas wing it.....Its a load of BS! They have a plan! They want you to think they're constantly risking it, but they have a plan in place. Find me one successful person who didn't start with a plan. The point is going into something blind is dangerous. Take 30 mins and write down every dream you want to accomplish, then draw out your PLAN to get it! Change it! Tweek it! Scribble stuff out! Whatever! Just have a plan in place! Adam Bossen www.adambossen.com Research Research Research 09/01/2009
Research is GOLDEN! Asking questions, reading books, and don't even get me started with the internet. That's all we have is information being shot at us like a firehose! Some people soak it up others dodge it and continually make the wrong decision out of laziness. Is research boring? YES!!!! Until you find the answer you were looking for, and you do what I like to call the Keanu Reeves......"WOOOOO!" For example, a while ago I was doing some research on grants. Many major companies were started on grants. So I began to ask questions, make phone calls, search online, you name it. Come to find out, the company I was going to go through was going to charge me $3800 just to basically fill out an application to see who wanted to give me the grant! Not to metion the fact that there were still several other charges before I saw 1 freakin dime! No thanks!.........Research! I did the same when I started in the MLM world. I admit I was the sceptic that I bag on today but I always was intigued with it. So I began to research it.....a lot! Months actually. I looked at certain companies, check their finacial records, their debt, their endorsements, everything. I found the ones I liked and trusted and the rest is history. The point is rushing into something without doing research can be a burden financially, mentally or even physically. Just take the time to do the research. In one of my businesses, I saved people some time by taking the hours of research I did and turning it into a website www.mlmnetworkmastersonline.com Everything they want to know is all right there. I know research can be a pain in the butt so I tried to make it easy. Like I said up top, research will save a lot of time and energy. Just take sometime and use the resources you have right infront of you. Adam Bossen www.adambossen.com |
